The saint and seer who encouraged the society to find within the remedies through the self development movement was born with a firm conviction that there is no religion bigger than humanity. He worked selflessly for the upliftment of the poor and made sure that there is no discrimination over caste, creed and religion. The missionary zeal of Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji resulted in the development of the place into a centre of true education where high quality scientific, technical and moral education is imparted. He took upon himself the task of fulfilling the vision of his mentors by engaging the youth of this backward, rural and flood ravaged area into the path of progress through authentic and affordable education. The life and deeds of Sant Baba Malkit Singh ji were marked with rising above the self and implied restrictions of prejudices by dedicating his life in the service of mankind by living through honest means.
The benevolent Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji, also remembered as "Brahmji", will always remain guiding spirit for all of us. He was a "great saint", who devoted his whole life for the betterment of human beings. From his early childhood he was inclined towards Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. He came into contact with Dera Santpura Jabbar Sahib and he decided to surrender his life to this Dera. With the passage of time, he realized that he found his niche here under the guidance of Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji. Charity and spiritual learnings were the hallmarks of his enlightened personality. He toiled himself in the fields and kept himself grounded. He was a true environmentalist. The plantation in Dera Sahib and nearby areas is done by Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji. He echoed the gospel of Sri Guru Nanak Devji Kirat Karo, Naam Japo, Vand Chako" in his life. He inspired youth of the area for human and social welfare activities. Countless people especially youth has remained connected with him seeking celestial blessings. He got erected a large number of bridges with the association of Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji to make the lives of the surrounding villages comfortable.
