Reverend Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji)
The benevolent Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji, also remembered as "Brahmji", will always remain guiding spirit for all of us. He was a "great saint", who devoted his whole life for the betterment of human beings. From his early childhood he was inclined towards Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. He came into contact with Dera Santpura Jabbar Sahib and he decided to surrender his life to this Dera. With the passage of time, he realized that he found his niche here under the guidance of Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji. Charity and spiritual learnings were the hallmarks of his enlightened personality.
He toiled himself in the fields and kept himself grounded. He was a true environmentalist. The plantation in Dera Sahib and nearby areas is done by Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji. He echoed the gospel of Sri Guru Nanak Devji Kirat Karo, Naam Japo, Vand Chako" in his life. He inspired youth of the area for human and social welfare activities. Countless people especially youth has remained connected with him seeking celestial blessings. He got erected a large number of bridges with the association of Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji to make the lives of the surrounding villages comfortable.
Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Nursing is not just an ordinary institution but a vision. It is a vision and dream of Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji that was dedicatedly fulfilled by Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji. After Sant Baba Malkit Singh Ji, he took all the pains to bring that dream into reality. Under his able guidance, the institution has been fully blossomed catering the need of the rural population of Punjab and other states.
